Who we are

DKM Digital is the digital solutions arm of DKM Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a South African company (registration number 2026/780591/07). DKM Holdings is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect the details you choose to give us:

• your name and email address
• your phone number (optional)
• the subject, the service you are interested in, and your message

Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical details such as your IP address and browser type when your browser loads a page. Our fonts, icons and styling are served from our own site, not from third parties. We do not set cookies ourselves and we do not use advertising trackers. To understand how the site is used, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and shows us things like the page visited, where the visitor came from, and their country, browser and device type. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.

Why we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote or proposal you have asked for, and, if you become a client, to deliver and support the work. We also use anonymous visit statistics to see which pages are useful and to improve the site. You give us your details voluntarily when you submit the form. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and handle your enquiries. They handle information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Formspree receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our email
• Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send
• Vercel hosts this website and provides its visit statistics

Some of these providers are based outside South Africa, so your information may be processed in other countries. We choose providers that publish their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records if you become a client. You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.

How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who need them to respond. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct information that is wrong or out of date
• delete information we no longer need
• stop using your information, or withdraw a consent you gave us

Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, for example by adding other tracking tools, we will update this page and its date.
